Untitled

Tieren’s proposal is to create a 3D sculpture reproducing the  small organisms that live off the sides of trees.  Tieren calls his piece a mimicry of nature: The door represents the trunk of a tree on which are glued clay mushrooms.  Acrylic paint and clay are mixed to reproduce the designs observed in nature.

When asked about the purpose of Public Art, Tieren says “ The purpose of Public art is to make the world more beautiful! Anything can be beautiful! Looking at something in the right way makes it beautiful” : Tieren focuses on  patterns found in water, sky, wood as well as elements that are often  ignored ( fungi ) and yet so essential in the ecosystem .
