Backyard Daydream

My design is of the open path leading the viewer into the natural world. I wanted to show some familiar local wildlife but presented the scene with bright fantastical colors that one might daydream about as we spend more time in our homes than we have ever before. I played with color combinations and patterns that at times camouflage the animals in the image and that we have to slow down and look to find. I wanted to bring out the wonder of these everyday scenes in nature that we might see in our own backyards and along the local walking and biking trails.
