“During Covid I have been much more aware of nature around me. We bought a beautiful bird feeder and during isolation I found it peaceful to watch the birds from a window seat in the house. My doors show birds flying in freedom, wild, healthy, and unconstrained. I hope they create a feeling of peace for passersby.”

Emily is a painter from Lexington, MA. In addition to teaching oil and acrylic techniques, she encourages and teaches students to sketch. Her work is in galleries in New England and private collections internationally. After earning both a fine arts degree and a Master’s in Education, she had a successful career as an educator and graphic designer. She teaches privately in her barn-studio, and at various educational venues near Boston.
